The C&C Group is proud to regularly raise money and awareness for local charities, and the team’s latest fundraising efforts for the Teenage and Young Adult service at The Christie are of particular significance. On 21st October, Cerys, Lesley, Anne-Marie and Natalie will join others raising vital funds for the trust by completing a 10km walk through the streets of the Salford Quays, Manchester.
Helping to provide inspiration and hope to cancer patients and their families, the charity offers the best treatment and care to those at the facility, including former employee of C&C Catering Engineers Ltd Will Clark (pictured, donating previous funds), who is currently fighting cancer in the unit. Will, son of former C&C Catering Equipment Ltd’s Trevor Clark, has shown incredible courage and inspired all at the Group with his fighting spirit. Members of the team will therefore be taking part in the Night of Neon event in Salford to fundraise and help support the fantastic care given by the trust.
C&C Catering Engineers Ltd’s Cerys Hughes commented, “We have all been keeping Will and the family in our thoughts, and are pleased to be able to do something to support the fantastic care we hear he is receiving. The charity truly is phenomenal, so we are grateful for any sponsorships and hope to raise a fantastic amount for The Teenage and Young Adult service at The Christie.”
All donations are gratefully received, and can be made on the team’s JustGiving page.
