Last month, showroom manager, Cerys Hughes, celebrated 25 years as an employee at C&C Catering Equipment and Engineers and very shortly, colleague Corinne Colli will be celebrating ten years at the Flintshire based company.  Corinne who handles showroom and light equipment sales, moved to the new site last year from C&C Catering Equipment, and during this time, the showroom has been expanded and now offers an even wider range of products.

Prior to working at C&C Catering Engineers, Corinne spent 18 years managing a fine dining restaurant – The Blue Bell – in Chester and although seeking a change, wished to stay within the catering field. “I have worked in the industry for more than 30 years so was keen to use the knowledge built up over that time.” says Corinne. “I wanted to work in the daytime, as opposed to in the evenings, so was delighted to be offered the position at C&C.” Initially ‘out on the road’ as a representative for sundries, the showroom division became so busy, Corinne was forced to become office based. Now, customers can visit on-site and be guided through the collections available.

Corinne’s expertise of the products in the showroom and her ability to create a ‘look’ from a concept has been an on-going process. “Having a passion for the product certainly helps.” says Corinne. “And, over the years, I have undertaken training days and factory visits to learn more about each range and how they might compliment one another. I very much enjoy the job and working with Cerys. We are often referred to as a bit of a double act! It’s definitely the people that make the job and I’m looking forward to watching the showroom evolve into an even greater success than it already is.”
